To me a person’s word is their bond, If your word is not reliable you are not the type of person that I aspire to deal with, professionally or otherwise.

If you are broke… I am the type of friend that would text you a control number from western union If you are going through personal problems,

I’m the type of friend who can at least always provide a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on.

Most of the people I deal with in the dancehall community, I consider my friends (and the previous 3 statements apply to them)

Since I have been involved in dancehall, I have put together a fairly big network of artists, dancers, selectors and dancehall personalities. Most of whom I consider to be friends.

I had an experience this past weekend though that has me re-evaluating how easily I give an individual the title of “trusted friend” This past saturday I was booked for a dance in Virginia Beach called Pum Pum Audition.

Accompanying me was 2 female dancers from Cleveland and a few dancers from Pittsburgh.

Friday I received a phone call that re-arranged my plans (The Cleveland girls couldn’t make it)

This was a predicament because as much as I know that people in VA wanted to see me, I know that without some crazy female dancers the Pum Pum Audition just wouldn’t be the same.

So I made a few calls to see if I could get some last minute replacements. Friday evening I spoke toTasheka Johnson aka Sheka “Famous” on her cellphone 1-201-898-7994 (house 347-587-1869) I explained my situation.

She assured me that she could do it, I should buy 2 bus tickets and wire her $US 100 on that Saturday morning.

Sheka called me 9:30am that saturday morning to see when I would send the money. I sent the money about 10am and waited for confirmation from my dancing “friend” that she had received it. At about noon after not hearing from her, I called. Someone answered the phone and informed me that “her daughter” was not coming to VA because she didn’t get permission. At this point my only response was “No Problem”

I called western union to get my money back they informed me that it had been picked up at 10:15 am in Brooklyn. I called Sheka’s phone and It was explained to me by “the mom” that I didn’t ask her permission to send “her daughter” any money so why am I calling about it. Again my response was“No Problem”

I was somewhat, disappointed, surprised and upset, that my “good good friend” would set up such an elaborate scheme to steal $US 100.

I guess dancers in NYC don’t do so well… Or just maybe Sheka isn’t doing so well, Maybe Sheka need to listen to my song “Fuck and Collect” and won’t have the need to steal petty cash and burn bridges.

I decided to make SHEKA FAMOUS … famous (since I’m sure most of you have never heard of her before today) I called a few friends from NYC and told them the story (DJ Kenny, Skerrit Bwoy, Rhythm Pink, Famous Kid) and within I few hours I recieved this texts from Sheka

“U NEED TO DONT CALL UP MU FUKIN NAME I WILL FUKIN SEND UR SHIT BACK IN THE FUKIN MORNIN ASAP NIGGA U GOT THE RONG BYTCH (PrettY SHEKA)”

pay attention to her excellent spelling and grammar… shortly after I recieved this text

“GIMME UR STINK ASS NAME ND CITY SO I CAN SEND YA SHIT NOWWWWWW (PrettY SHEKA)”

these texts made me chuckle, I wish she had told me prior that she was the “RONG BYTCH” as she so eloquently put it lol

Sheka dear I don’t need the $US 100 as much as you do, and the name and city it came from is probably my name and my city. Hooked on Phonics wasn’t available for everyone so I feel your pain and I understand.

I have a feeling that you cannot afford to repay me and I honestly dont want it. Skerrit say him will take di $US100 so if you want to you can give it to him at the next event.

I saw this on someone who I knew facebook status…. recently and it made me chuckle
Humans are jealous beings, nothing like a woman’s scorn and all these type of over used cliches came to mind…
In this particular instance my attention was captured because I know this person and was surprised that she was airing her dirty laundry on the internet
Lemme break it down..
Lets call our main character “Rochelle”… lets say “Taylor” or “Franklin” or “Bicycle”.. pick a surname (I made the name up so it doesn’t really matter)

Rochelle would be considered a groupie by most because of her infatuation with a certain reggae artist lets call him “Artist” for argument’s sake
Rochelle is one of those girls who “Throw cocky partner if you will” (Pay for sex in layman’s terms)
Rochelle is the type of girl who argues on the internet eg. on twitter with other females about who should be fucking “Mr Artist”
Rochelle is the type of girl who says good girls don’t go down but knows what artist’s cum taste like
Rochelle will drop her kids off anywhere at anytime if she thinks she has a chance to see the artist
Rochelle will brush off guys who really like her because in her mind she is in a relationship with an artist
Rochelle marks her calendar anytime “Artist” is in a 8hr drive radius of her city and plan to be at the respective show
Rochelle will call and beg the artist to come fuck her and if that fails send money to “help” with something
Rochelle calls an threatens artist if he communicates with any other women in her city
Rochelle has been known to threaten women publicly if they try to deal with the artist

Think about all you’ve read so far…. I cant really say much about this because I am usually known to dance with all the girls in the club whenever I am working in a city. I wasn’t aware of the time thats supposed to be allotted for each dagger but lol obviously 45 mins is too much.
