On October 27th and 28th, New York City, Serani took over the party scene with his record release “parties” for his hit album, “No Games”. On Tuesday at S.O.B.’s in Manhattan and on Wednesday at Club Temptations in Brooklyn, Serani took over. Both release parties were star-studded with the who’s who in the dancehal arena.
Beginning on Tuesday at S.O.B.’s, hosted by Troopa Traloopa and Hot 97.1, Serani proved that he is reaching fans inside the Caribbean community and beyond. The diverse crowd was lined up for an early night of celebration before the doors opened at 7:30 p.m. sharp. The show commenced at 10:00 p.m. and when Serani touched the stage his fans were delivered more than a sample of the album, they were given a full show.The party continued the following night with Wha Gwan Wednesays at Club Temptations hosted by the great, Steelie Bashment, in the heart of Brooklyn. The regular Wednesday night dance drew many of those who attended the Tuesday night kick-off for round two plus many more. The dancehall vibes were in full effect as Serani performed and entertained the crowd with his dancehall and crossover hits.The 14 track “No Games” is available on iTunes and all online digital music stores, as well as in retail stores across the country.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
I was just talking with my friend about this yesterday at dinner . Don’t remember how we landed on the topic really, they brought it up. I do recall eating a wonderful chicken salad with sunflower seeds on it. I digress…
