DANCEHALL HYPE?!?

Dancehall culture is a very unique one in the sense that it is one of many taboo’s very few do’s but a lot of don’ts. Let me rephrase this… dancehall culture is being portrayed as one with many taboos. A closer look at many of the “players” in the dancehall scene you will find that many do not adhere to the “rules and regulations” if you will of dancehall life.

Lets touch on a few of the “rules”

1. No Gays allowed
2. No Oral Sex
3. Rastafarians are usually “the good guys”, “righteous”, “positive” the same is not always expected of their “baldheaded” dancehall counterparts
4. Badmind is a disease
5. Good girls have one man and or is the “wife” and not the “mate”
6. Real men don’t do house cleaning or take orders from their women
7. Promiscuity is celebrated as long as you are a man
8. Marijuana is OK but all other drugs are bad
9. Bleaching your skin is a no no

We probably could have a whole article just listing things that are allowed and things that are not but lets stop there for the time being. Today we are going to review two TRUE stories that go against rules 2 and 3.

It has been brought to raggasuss.com ‘s attention that a particular multicolored hair singjay is “not afraid to shot a battybwoy” but is however ” not so bold when it comes to discussing his vagina eating habits” The following is excerpts of verified accounts of encounters with the singer/deejay and Ms anonymous.

“Well it started in 2007 I met him at a show in Atlanta that we were co-promoting.This was uneventful but later that week in Florida he made several attempts to hook up in my hotel room, each time I declined. This continued until he seemingly gave up. A month later I received another phone call from him, but this call he employed a new strategy. It was approximately 3 am and expressed his desire to eat my pussy and he just wanted me to sit on his face. ‘WHATEVER!!’ was my only response to this. Fast forward to 2008 We crossed paths again in a recording studio in Atlanta, initially he was very charming buying drinks and sharing wholesome conversations, I excused myself for a bathroom break and he push the door in and wanted to eat me out in the bathroom….”

I guess when the songs says “WHO NEVER SUCK A PUSSY TWO HAND INNA DI AIR” its more of a do what I say and not what I do vibes or maybe the singjay suck more than just “ONE OR A” pussy after all he didn’t say “who never suck nuff pussy two hand inna di air” and with that technicality him can put up him hand with a clear conscience.

Lot of women have the misconception that because an artist sings culture music and portrays an image of being righteous, positive and holy that means its safer to interact with them as opposed to the artist who sings about raunchy sex and guns and violence. DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE !!!

We have had reports of that women should “watch those places they walk and mind the way they talk because not only the earth but hotel rooms can run red too. REAL TALK!!”
We also wanna take the opportunity to let the women know that if we say eg “WE BUN A FIRE PON A WEAK HEART” we probably don’t consider infidelity and or adultery to be signs of having a weak heart. The following is excerpts of verified accounts of encounters with our rastafarian friend please don’t call the hearse OK

“I met him and I was enthralled by the rasta myth, ‘You are my queen” and all the seemingly ‘right’ words that came out of his mouth. We communicated continually for several months and he sent for me to come visit him in NYC on one particular occasion. We had a wonderful time together, we hung out, conversed and eventually had sex prior to me leaving. We agreed that I would help him with his web based PR work. I decided to read his bio, to my disbelief I found out this man was married with children. Upon confrontation he claimed that they were not together, she was an older woman who was seeing other people and assured me that I should not pay attention to the ‘old’ bio. He lies became more evident when it got to the point where his wife was answering his phone and after I received an email from her. I was tempted to tell her about our sexual history and how him cocky shape like a hook but I tried to be the bigger person and remove myself from the situation.”

Ladies, Men are men regardless of the length of there hair or the songs that they sing. If you go to Buju Banton’s hotel room after a show chances are the same thing is expected as if you went to Fudgie Springer’s hotel room. dont believe the hype because its just DANCEHALL HYPE!!!!
