THAT’S THE STUPIDEST SONG I’VE EVER HEARD IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE NATURAL LIFE!! HOW CAN YOU CLAIM TO BE BEAUTIFUL YET YOU’RE CHANGING YOUR APPEARANCE!!

    FUCKERY!!!!

It is sad that my fellow Jamaican sisters and brothers have found it necessary to bleach – but I really saw it coming. I can remember when I was about 15 yrs young and Buju’s “Browning” song came out. I was most disappointed because this created a new hype with the black girls who were of a lighter hue. His counter of “Black Woman” did nothing to remedy the damage that he had done (anyway still love you Buju – you’ve since grown in self worth). We the “blackies” were no longer good enough for our black brothers. I do lay a lot of the blame on our black men. They have made the majority of our weak black women think that they are not good enough – just look around – 95% of our successful black brothers have a “browning as a wife/mate” no matter how black there mother is. Black girls who did not grow up with strong “self love” are left behind no matter how beautiful, educated or even “wealthy background”. Thank God for President Obama – he’s showing our black men/boys that a trophy wife can be a powerful, strong black woman. Thank God for my parents – I am BLACK AND PROUD. I have never felt inferior to “real or bleached brownings”. Sisters, it is not worth it, LOVE THYSELF FIRST – BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE.

My heart goes out for Lisa Hype – she is young and misguided. I am not here to condemn her on her views of beauty but I will reiterate that God made us beautiful – no matter what shade of “BLACK” you are. Just ensure that whatever you are doing to yourself today, you’ll be able to live with it tomorrow. Love my “BLACK SISTA” From: AMBLAQUE

One last thing my sista – you may bleach yourself next to looking “White, Caucasian, European” whatever – but you will still be classified as “BLACK”.
